Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia. It began as a day of giving thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year.

We wish all our friends around the world a Happy Thanksgiving 2021. Even if we cannot celebrate Thanksgiving together this year at the Adams Apple Club in Chiang Mai, as in previous years, we have not forgotten this special day and we are sure that we will celebrate Thanksgiving 2022 together again next year.

Happy Loy Krathong 2021 ลอยกระทง

Don't be sad, next year we will celebrate the Loy Krathong together again

Loi Krathong takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar, thus the exact date of the festival changes every year.

The name could be translated as “to float a basket,” and comes from the tradition of making krathong or buoyant, decorated baskets, which are then floated on a river.

We wish all our friends around the world a Happy Loy Krathong 2021. Even if we cannot celebrate Loi Krathong together this year at the Adams Apple Club in Chiang Mai, as in previous years, we have not forgotten this special day and we are sure that we will celebrate Loy Krathong 2022 together again next year.

Diwali, the five-day festival of lights, is one of the most important holidays celebrated by followers of Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism. Diwali symbolizes the victory of good over evil and of light over darkness. On this day, people light up their houses with diyas and various colourful lights.

We all hope that it will be a good month and that many of our problems can be resolved. The last few weeks have been very difficult for all of us. We fought and bravely held our position.

Unfortunately, we still do not know when we will be allowed to reopen. We all hope and pray that we can open again soon and welcome our friends and guests from all over the world again.

Let us hope and pray together that we will survive this difficult time in good health. Let us look to the future with confidence.
